Approved by Tradeflow Africa Limited · Effective 9 October 2026.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy addresses visitors who contact Tradeflow or subscribe to website updates. Tradeflow Africa is the public-facing brand. Tradeflow Africa Limited is the legal entity responsible for this website and the controller of personal information collected through its enquiry and subscription forms. Legal and privacy enquiries may be sent to talktous@tradeflow.africa. Separate notices may apply to client engagements, events or other activities.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. The Nigeria Data Protection Commission is the Nigerian data protection regulator. Other mandatory legal protections may apply depending on the circumstances.
2. Information collected
An enquiry includes your title, full name, email address, organization, enquiry type, service of interest and message. A subscription includes your email address. Subsequent correspondence may include information you choose to provide to clarify your request.
The website also uses technical services needed for delivery, security and administrator sign-in. These may process connection or request information. A complete list of provider logs, cookies, storage and any analytics must be verified before the final policy is approved.
3. Purposes and lawful grounds
Enquiry information is used to respond to you, understand your goals and explore a potential working relationship. Subscription information is used for the updates you request. Security information may be used to protect the website and prevent misuse.
Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may rely on your consent, steps requested before an engagement, legitimate operational interests or a legal obligation. The lawful basis for each activity should be documented in the final organizational policy. Website submissions do not authorize unrelated marketing.
4. Who can access information
Enquiries and subscriptions are stored in a private inbox accessible only to the authorized Tradeflow administrator. Technical hosting and service providers may process information as needed to operate the website.
Any further disclosure for a service engagement should be explained and limited to an appropriate purpose. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law. This policy does not authorize publication of your enquiry or unrestricted sharing with partners.
5. Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to two years after our last interaction with you, unless the enquiry leads to an engagement. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Records relating to a client engagement, contracts or financial transactions are retained for six years after the engagement ends, in line with standard limitation and statutory record-keeping periods, unless a longer period is required by law.
Information that is no longer needed is securely deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion or ask to stop receiving updates by emailing talktous@tradeflow.africa or using the contact form. Any lawful need to retain particular records will be explained when a request is reviewed.
6. Security and international processing
Private access controls help protect form submissions. No website or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure; please do not submit passwords, payment card details or identity documents in your message.
Tradeflow handles personal information in Nigeria. The only exception is storage and hosting through reputable cloud service providers, whose infrastructure may be located outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we rely on providers that apply appropriate security and contractual safeguards, consistent with the cross-border transfer requirements of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or object to particular uses. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Portability may apply to certain information.
Email talktous@tradeflow.africa or use the contact form to make a privacy request or withdraw your subscription. Tradeflow may need proportionate verification before releasing or changing personal records. Requests are subject to applicable legal deadlines and exceptions. You may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, without prejudice to other remedies available under applicable law.
8. External websites and children
Social profiles, Trade Desk and news links lead to external sites with their own privacy practices. Review those policies before sharing information there.
This website is intended for business and institutional enquiries rather than services directed at children. If you believe a child’s information has been submitted inappropriately, contact Tradeflow for review.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our activities or legal requirements. The updated date identifies the current version. Material changes will be accompanied by further notice or consent where required by applicable law.
